I just received this in the mail today, and it looks awesome! The colors are sooo vibrant and pretty, and the image is so clear that it looks like the artist painted directly onto the laptop. Beautiful. The skin fit perfectly to my laptop, but I did have a bit of trouble lining it up (I had to remove it and re-apply it once, when it was a little crooked). The great thing about these skins, though, are that they are easily pulled off and re-applied, so you’re bound to get it right eventually.
There are a lot of people who give GelaSkins bad reviews, comparing them to simple stickers rather than cases – but that’s what skins ARE. They’re supposed to be thin, it’s to make the object look personalized. And they’re much more than a sticker, they’re tough vinyl that provides great protection from scratches and fingerprints and that can be removed without leaving a sticky mess. Any “regular sticker” that you made yourself would ruin anything it was put on. Plus, GelaSkins designs are all created by real artists who get a commission from each sale, and I feel good supporting their work.
